I put together a video from just a fraction of the beauty that held me on my winter trip across the USA:
from sun-soaked California,
to the quiet awe of Yosemite,
to flash-flooded Seattle,
to Montana’s astonishing Glacier National Park,
to blizzards sweeping through Chicago,
and the long, soft road across every New England state with the amazing @colleenmcgourt1 - where we laughed & talked shizzle for hours upon hours across the winding roads to see all our friends.
What I am constantly re-learning is simple:
living well has nothing to do with time.
It’s about how deeply you see what’s in front of you.
We are all temporary,
and somehow that makes every moment shine brighter.
Every breath is a beginning.
Every step is a returning…
to ourselves,
to the world,
to the parts of life we almost rushed past.
